Noreen F. Slattery joined Shipman & Associates in the fall of 2002, when she relocated to Wilmington from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her BA degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Criminology and a Legal Assisting diploma from Westmoreland County Community College. Additionally, Noreen has extensive complex civil litigation experience class actions, patent and trademark infringement lawsuits, as well as medical malpractice cases. When she is away from the office, Noreen enjoys golfing, running, biking, fishing and reading.

Brandy Lea Balderson is a native Wilmingtonian and a 2002 graduate from Coastal Carolina Community College with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Technology. Brandy began working with Shipman & Wright as an intern in May of 2002 and has been a full-time employee since August of the same year. Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Nursing Home Negligence, Construction Litigation, and Breech of Contract cases are her areas of expertise. Brandy is married to husband Richie, and they are proud parents of one daughter, Briana Noelle. Brandy enjoys spending time at the beach, boating and being outdoors.

Rebecca L. Zumpe joined Shipman & Wright, L.L.P. in September of 2005, when she relocated to Wilmington from Hartford, Connecticut. Although, Rebecca has received 60 credits from Manchester Community College, in Manchester, Connecticut, she has gained all of her experience in the legal profession over the past 18 years in the litigation field with experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, workers' compensation, as well as other areas of litigation. Rebecca and her husband Chris of 16 years are the proud parents of their 6-year old son Benjamin. Rebecca enjoys camping, hiking, walking on the beach, and spending time with family who has also relocated to Wilmington.

Mary Ellen Moran and her husband Bill relocated to North Carolina from New Jersey in October, 2004. She joined Shipman & Wright as receptionist in January, 2006. During her leisure time, Mary Ellen enjoys going to the beach, golfing, dancing, and being outdoors.

Blayne Joyner was born and raised in Durham, NC. He earned a BS in Marketing at University of North Carolina at Wilmington while also playing baseball for the Seahawks. Blayne joined Shipman & Wright as the Business Manager in the spring of 2006.
